About Catherine

 A little about me and my career. I trained to become a Beauty Therapist in Cork in Ireland over 20 years ago at the well renowned Susan Ryan Cork College of Beauty Therapy. A decision I made after studying Business and Marketing initially and realised it wasn't for me, college life yes, chosen subjects no! Beauty was something I always had an interest in so I bit the bullet (or rather my parents did and very generously paid my fees, something I am always grateful for)  and I haven't looked back since.

I qualified with ITEC, CIBTAC and CIDESCO certificates and diplomas, some of the best and most highly recognised qualifications in the industry.

I spent many years working in Cork both as a therapist and tutor, working and teaching in beauty therapy, body therapy and electrolysis. I finally met 'the one' in 2012 and made the move to his home country, the UK.  After working in senior and managerial roles over the years, I am now offering a full range of beauty treatments from my home based beauty salon called St Albans Beauty Room.
